Poster & Sticker Design

This design was created for a student film thesis. The film, entitled Epitaphion, is a visual album that explores romantic relationships and the complicated dynamics involved. The design of both the stickers and poster echo themes within the film.

The sticker design include a red string, which can be seen throughout the film as a ‘connector’ between the couple, until the end when the string breaks. Signifying the cut ties between them.

The poster was designed around the image of the girl on the floor with a spotlight on her. I softened the spotlight on her to create a soft, ethereal, almost dream-like feel to echo the message and tone of the film. I wanted the only focus to be the girl and expanded the negative space to create a focused, intentional and attention grabbing effect. Leading the viewer to be curious about viewing the film.
